ROBERTSON STREET OFFICE

 

 

Originally a two-storey commercial warehouse located in the heart of Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley, Robertson Street Office involved converting the space into a retail tenancy and hot desking workspace. Creating a versatile space that encouraged small business users to interact was key to the spatial planning, leading to the design of a central, communal kitchen area. The relaxed, open plan work environment, break out areas and hot desking zones maintain a sense of cohesion through use of ply across varying surfaces. A monochromatic palette was developed for furnishings and interior wall finishings to compliment this feature.
