A response to the brand and a rediscovered site structure that is iconic to its Petrie Terrace location, the Fritzenberger interiors are based on a utilitarian theme. Taking centre stage within the restaurant, four brewing tanks are encompassed by a 20-metre steel studded bar, positioned and illuminated for brewing procedures to be viewed. Materials, fittings and fixtures such as solid Tasmanian Oak timber and galvanised mild steel have been used throughout joinery items to create a durable hospitality space. These items have been designed as a simplified expression of traditional beerfest furniture, resulting in a rejuvenated interior that captures the brand of this quirky, bold craft beer.
